A Dual Purpose

Not only are contests, raffles and giveaways a great way to say thank you to all the amazing people who support Filipina Paradise, it’s also an opportunity for philanthropy!

100% of the proceeds generated from the raffles will go towards an amazing Philippines charitable organization committed to the improvement of the human condition. Here’s a list of some of the reputable organizations that are on my heart to support:

• Philippine Red Cross – Provides emergency response, health services, and community support

• Save the Children Philippines – Works to improve the lives of children through health, education, and protection programs.

• Habitat for Humanity Philippines – Aims to provide safe and affordable housing for low-income families

• Gawad Kalinga (To Give Care) – Focuses on poverty alleviation and community development through housing and livelihood programs.

• Caritas Manila – The lead social service and development ministry of the Catholic Church in the Philippines, geared towards human development and poverty alleviation

• Tahanan ng Pagmamahal (Home of Love) – Offering shelter, education, healthcare, a bright future and sense of belonging to children.

• Philippine Food Bank Foundation – Distributes surplus food to religious orphanages, schools, parishes and other charitable institutions in communities in need.

The plan is to have multiple contests, raffles and giveaways going concurrently, with the prizes growing as Filipina Paradise grows. All raffles will be only $1 USD to encourage as much participation as possible. Not only will all funds that are generated be donated, but I will personally match the amount raised as I am able to afford – I’m really excited about the positive difference we can make in people’s lives together!
